About Me
My full name is Nicholas Paul Momrik, but I go by Nick. I was born the day after Christmas (12/26) in 1979 to Paul and Jane. I have a sister, Heather, who is two years younger than me and a brother, Isaac who is about seven and a half years younger. They all add up to make a great family
I grew up in Rogers City, MI and graduated from Rogers City High School in 1998 as one of four valedictorians with a 4.0 GPA. After high school I went on to attend Saginaw Valley State University, where I graduated in May of 2002 with a 3.976 GPA and a B.S. in Computer Science, minoring in Computer Information Systems. On February 4th, 2002 (before graduation) I was hired full-time to work as a Help Desk Analyst for the SVSU Information Technology Services Support Center. In January of 2007 I moved to a new position managing all of the software and imaging of lab computers. My new title is Microlab Technology Specialist.
Some of my hobbies include movies, Xbox, web design, poker, golf, and biking. During the Michigan summers I golf as much as possible, but also enjoy roller-blading, basketball, volleyball, biking, and running. I can’t stand the cold of the Michigan winters, so I don’t do many outdoor winter activities.
I would like to move out to California some day, but I was tired of renting, so in January of 2007 I bought a house in Saginaw. I’ll most likely be staying in the area for at least a few more years.
As far as other plans for the future…my door is always open and swings both ways.
