I would have more respect for the senders if Andy Rooney had actually said it, which he did not. The piece is just over four minutes' running time, a minute longer than a Rooney piece on 60 Minutes. Much of it is in a style decidedly not Rooney's. If someone wants to offer these ideas as his or her own, that would be fine. But saying it's Andy Rooney to make it more credible is a lie, and thus shows a lack of integrity. I agree with much of it, too.
