My Sister…My Wife?

Yesterday while I was shopping for dress pants and shirts, the lady in the store called Heather my wife. We’re pretty used to it by now, but it’s always good for a quick laugh. I’m not even sure if I could count how many times it has happened. Maybe people think that because we are roughly the same age and get along so well. Come on though, all you have to do is look at us and you can tell we are related!

It happened last year too when we were shopping for a washer and dryer for our apartment. The lady asked if we had a little kid, because of the buzzer on the washer. I guess some people don’t want to wake up their babies. That time was probably the funniest because we then told the lady that we were brother and sister. I love making someone feel like a jackass!

    I think the funniest time was when I was helping you shop for a bed. The woman at the store kept telling me, “oh, go on, lay down” I just wanted to scream at her that I wasn’t going to be sleeping in the bed. We are definitely too nice because I just don’t have the heart to embarrass people. Lesson learned…do NOT make any assumptions. However, every time we laugh our asses off afterwards. haha

    That is really funny!!! If I were you I would make an ass out of anyone who says it. Too many people assume things and they should just keep their damn mouths shut unless they know something for a fact. I love when I go out to eat when a guy goes out with a girl and everyone assumes they are “Together” I love pointing that out to waitresses when I go out…

    LMAO…that shit happens to me and my sister all the time….you just want to knock people’s heads when they say stupid crap like that. Can you not tell we are the spitting image of one another?!?! Oh well..we just have to live with it…

    haha, thats pretty rocking. I’m the sort of guy who would go out of my way to embarass people about that though, I guess I’m evil. :badgrin:
