The Last Samurai

The Last Samurai (Widescreen Edition)I remember seeing the movie trailers on TV and thinking, “Tom Cruise as a samurai!” I thought the movie was going to be a joke, but I was wrong. It was a really good movie.

Tom did a great job, but Ken Watanabe may have done even better in his role as the Lord of the Samurai. I learned a lot about their way of life…the dedication, the discipline, and the belief in what they did. It’s a good example to learn from for our own lives. We should battle each day for what we believe in, so that we may achieve our goals.

I don’t want to give away too much about the movie, but it was a joy to watch. I have to give it an A-.

“Last Samurai” By far the best movie after Braveheart I thought. The movie is very well produced and implemented in a way that it seems very realistic. The swords fights and all that just amazing. A+

Just watched it…and I agree with Mo…A+…the action scenes were great and I even watched the half-hour mini doc that came on the dvd! Very interesting stuff! The romance was unneccessary though…but you have to appeal to the women…
