Biggest Choke Ever!
I’m never been a baseball fan, but I had to stay up tonight and watch the New York Yankees lose to the Boston Red Sox after being up 3-0 in the series. Never has a team went up 3-0 in the ALCS and then lost the next three games. The Yankees did. Never has a team lost a series after being up 3-0. The Yankees did. Yankee hater I am.
Three games in the series were among the longest ever in MLB playoff history and Boston battled to win two of those in extra innings. Boston outplayed New York in every aspect of game 7 and deserved the series win. The curse is over and we never have to hear about it again. It’s on to the World Series for the Red Sox.

The SOX need to win it all for the curse to be over. I hope they win cuz I am sick of hearing about the damn curse! They deserve all of this for selling the best player ever!

How about this as a theory? The curse is going to end this season because Barry Bonds is going to break Babe’s HR record next year???? I just thought of that.

Barry Bonds is on steroids and they will ammend the rule probably this year i personally think without the steroids, he will go back to average

Steroids do not help you hit the baseball. I could care less if Barry Bonds or any other player is on them. You still need to be able to hit a 95 mph fast ball or a curve ball that breaks 3-4 feet. Baseball needs to give up on this steroid issue because they will drive all of the fans away with it, not matter what the outcome.

I totally agree…steroids help players hit it farther, but they dont help them make contact. You still need to be a damn good athlete to hit the ball!

Let’s not forget that the Yanks had game 4 and the sweep in the bag in the 9th inning. It must be hard to pitch a save with your hands around your throat!
