My electric and gas bill for last month is over $170! I haven’t even been home in a week. Outrageous! (...)
Just Another Day
To me, a birthday is just another day in the year. Nothing all that special, except that you are officially a year older now. Today I’ve hit the quarter century mark (for the slow thinkers out there that means 25 years). Man, I’m getting old! At least my car insurance will go down and I can rent cars without getting raped by the extra $25/day fees. (...)

Why Pay More?
I just canceled the insurance on my cell phone. I’ve been paying an extra $5 a month. How stupid! That’s almost as much as I pay for my renter’s insurance, which covers me for $20,000! (...)

Little Light Bulbs In My Head
I always get some great little ideas about something I could make a short post about on the site, but then forget by the time I get back to a computer. It’s times like those that I wish I paid for Internet access on my phone. I wonder if I could use the text messaging feature to send a message to an email account that WP would automatically check. (...)

Christmas Tradition
Every year, the Christmas holiday is celebrated around the world. Each family has their own special Christmas traditions. My family has crab legs for dinner on Christmas Eve, we go to Church, and then come home to exchange gifts. One gift I get every year from my Mom is a container of chocolate covered almonds. I’m just waiting for her to forget one year. How do you celebrate the holiday? (...)

I, Robot
I had heard great things about I, Robot so my expectations were unusually high. So, yes, I was disappointed in the movie. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good movie, but not DVD buying material. The story was just a little bit too out there for my tastes. Will Smith did a great job in his role as the cop with a hate for robots. (...)
Over The Weekend
On Friday night, the family came down for Heather’s graduation. The speaker was dreadful, as expected, but the ceremony didn’t seem too long. After commencement, we headed off to Red Lobster for a little dinner celebration. I love that place. I had the Ultimate Feast and saved room for desert. It was some microwaved brownie thing with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Mmm mmm mmm!! (...)

Don’t Be A Stranger
The Strangerhood is the latest series from the crew at Rooster Teeth Productions, who are known for Red Vs Blue. The Strangerhood is along the same lines as Red Vs Blue, but uses the Sims 2 video game. Pretty funny stuff. (...)

Only One OT
We had our second basketball game last night. It only went into one overtime and we came out on top by 1 point. The way we started the game I thought we were going to blow them out. Of course our shooting went cold, almost as cold as my cards have been in poker over the past 3 weeks. We were losing at the half and finally caught back up. (...)

Halo 2 Has Been A Hit
In less than a month, more than 5 millions copies of Halo 2 were sold. The game has also logged more hours of play on Xbox Live than any other game. That’s pretty amazing since there are numerous games that have been playable on Xbox live for 2 years and Halo 2 did it in less than a month. (GameSpot) (...)

The Married Life
Over the weekend I made a trip to Sterling Heights to visit a few friends. On Saturday night, I went to a Christmas party with my friend Lindsay at one of her friend’s house. I was definately one of the younger people in attendance, but quite a few were just a year or two older than I. One of the things that was a bit different was that most of Lindsay’s younger friends are married. (...)

Ocean’s Twelve
Ocean’s Twelve is the highly anticipated sequel to the hit from 2001, Ocean’s Eleven. From what I had seen in the movie trailers over the last couple of weeks, I was expecting to be disappointed. I most definately was not though. With all of the original cast coming back, this movie is a great sequel. (...)

Copy….Right?
A few months ago I found a site that had copied some of my content word for word. Well, yesterday, I found a few auctions on Ebay where a guy was using several of images from Poker Chip Tricks in order to sell what looked like a list of links to poker sites around the Internet. I turned him in to Ebay and also sent him a message. He wrote me back… Cool your jets. (...)

Bandits
I borrowed this movie from my brother, not knowing what to expect. Bandits was released in 2001 and I didn’t remember seeing the previews for it. After taking the time to watch it, I was very suprised at how good it was. Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Willis, and Cate Blanchett all played excellent roles in the film, with Thornton probably doing the best. (...)

Hoop It Up
Had our first township basketball league game tonight. We lost in the third overtime to a 3 pointer at the buzzer. Our team had 6 guys and they had at least 10. Each of their players were younger than ours. We were down by 12 points at halftime. We should have never gotten back into the game. We will only get better as the season progresses and we get a few more of our players. (...)
Long Nights
I just can’t stay up late like I used to. A year or two ago, I could stay up until 12 or 1 in the morning and get up for work the next day without a problem. I can’t do that anymore. Last night I realized that I used to drink at least 5-6 cans/bottles of Mountain Dew a day. Now it’s a big week if I have 2 total. I also realized that I turn 25 in just over 2 weeks. (...)

Leonardo
There’s something about Leonardo DiCaprio that rubs me the wrong way. I’m not sure what it is either. Maybe it’s just his facial expressions or the tone of his voice. None of his movies look good to me. Could it be that they don’t look good simply because he stars in them? (...)
