Save Toby
Now here’s a way to make some easy money from a few suckers. Threaten to kill a cute little bunny named Toby. The guy running this site is going to kill Toby on June 30th, 2005 if he doesn’t get $50,000 in donations and merchandise purchases. Amazingly, he’s already took in over $14,000! After all, he’s only asking for $1 from each person. Why can’t I think of something like this? Check out the Save Toby site for all of the details. I donated but with a message that the money go to Toby’s dressings. Fry the little sucker!!!, you made your money, he’s getting too old anyway… This is hilarious, good way to get through college, better than working at a five and dime. Brilliant.. I still think he should serve up the feast though… Maybe auction off the rabbit BBQ!!! That would be totally cool!!!

Bion (the author of the site) is a good friend of mine. I’m pretty sure he’s serious about doing it. It originally was a joke but all the media attention has called his bluff - he’s going keep his word so he can keep the cash.

Eat the bunny man, the bunny meat is very soft, tasty, tender, is so delicious, with a red wine or a cool beer, wow, I can believe the taste of a good rabbit plate.
All of you must try it, the rabbit meat is one of the best.

Look, after all this debate, it’s not really any longer about whether or not Toby is gonna get killed. All that people want to see now is just HOW popular this can get.
The money no longer is for saving toby. It’s to buy t-shirts and other stupid merchandise so people can go “OMG! You are so cool! Save Toby?! OMG!”
Of COURSE it’s a joke site. People getting all steamed up in this DO need to recheck their priorities. But still, it is top entertainment. I think that it’s bullshit that that guy raised that much money, and although I do not know how he could doctor the numbers (Maybe by adding some of his own money to endorse the illusion) I think he deserves every dollar he has coming to him.
