It's not commercial free. They told me that right away at Best Buy when I bought mine. Most of the channels have some short commercials related to the satellite radio service you're listening to and a minority have some regular commercials. It's more than worth it though if you ask me. Wrong. The music channels are commercial free. I really object to paying for commercials but Sirius is better than regular radio. Deceptive advertising on Sirius' part I think.
