Review: Bringing Down the House
After reading the back cover of this book I knew I had to read it. Bringing Down the House is the story of how M.I.T. students beat the house. They took Las Vegas and other casinos around the country for millions of dollars. The book is one of the best I’ve ever read. It was one of those I couldn’t put down. (...)

Review: Life Aquatic
If you are looking for a movie to put you to sleep, Life Aquatic is that movie. This might be the worst movie (except for maybe AI) I’ve ever watched. It’s that bad! Not sure what to say about the movie except that I lost 2 hours of my life watching it. The movie doesn’t make sense, it’s not funny, and it sucks. (...)

Review: National Treasure
I watched National Treasure a few weeks ago at my friend Jere’s. I’ve wanted to see this movie for quite some time and I’m a little mad I waited so long. It’s a pretty good flick. Nicolas Cage does a great job in a movie that reminded me a lot of The Da Vinci Code. (...)

Review: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
It’s been over a month since I saw Revenge of the Sith, so a review is long overdue. I might need to see the movie again to remember it! Like most people, I was disappointed with Episodes I and II, so I was really looking forward to III. It didn’t disappoint me. I thought the movie was a great finish to the last (actually 3rd in the timeline) of the Star Wars movies. (...)

WordPress Plugin Update Notification
Last night I went out searching for plugin updates. I use quite a few plugins at all of my sites, so I wanted to get everything updated. After visiting countless sites, I became frustrated. Most people post about their plugins on their own blogs, but finding some updates is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Today the light bulb went off. (...)

Nike Air Go
The Nike Air Go was my favorite basketball shoe of all-time. They were much lighter than any other basketball shoe I ever owned. If the site I linked to sold size 14s I think I’d order a pair. (...)

All Heart
The Detroit Pistons played with everything they had tonight and forced a game 7 in the NBA Finals. The first 4 games of the series were blowouts, but it’s turned into one hell of a series. Game 7 will be must watch TV. (...)

Jury Duty
I’ve been picked for jury duty starting tomorrow (June 21st) through July 1st “or until any ongoing trial is completed.” I have to call each night in order to see if I have to report the next day. I called tonight and the message said to call back tomorrow after 11 because I might have to report at 1:00. Talk about a pain in the ass! (...)

Madden? Excuse Me?
John Madden will be moving from ABC to NBC after this year. John Madden is the best analyst in the history of the National Football League and, in my opinion, the best analyst of any kind in sports television history. Dick Ebersol What did he say? Is there anyone out there who actually enjoys listening to John Madden? If so, please raise your hand so we can all throw rocks at you. (...)

Another Dr. Visit
Over a month ago I was pretty sick for about a week. Everything got better, but I have a cough that never went away. Last night I finally decided to go back to the Doc. This time he gave me a different antibiotic and some cough syrup with Codeine. It better work, because it’s starting to get expensive! (...)

Women’s Golf
The LPGA is really catching on. I even had my TV on split screen today while watching the PGA. I see a lot of young girls/women becoming interested in golf in the near future. Just look at the success of some of the younger women golfers. In the LPGA Championship that finished today, Michelle Wie, a 15-year-old amateur, finished in 2nd place. (...)

NBA Movies
I really don’t care for the clips from upcoming movies the NBA has been using with the highlights during the playoffs. It’s just another example of how professional sports have become businesses instead of just entertainment. (...)
