You have to realize, however, that the Jedi were caught entirely offguard. The one dude, on the snowy bridge, did fight back, but there were way too many clone troopers for him to defend against. The others were literally shot in the back (the Twi'lek female comes to mind). I agree that the Jedi wouldn't have gone down so easily, but only if they had advance warning, even if they had known or realized it a minute earlier, they would have been safe.

I agree with you, the Jedi seemed to go down way too easy for my taste.

I agree with your perception of the prequels. I think Lucas wasted a lot of time with the first two movies, only showing small relevant scenes. The third movie had a lot to cover to put all the pieces together.

I agree that General Grievous should have been given a large role and introduced sooner and in more detail. With all of his collection of light sabers you would think one Jedi would have a hard time taking him down.

The portion of the movies where Anakin turns on the Jedi and the clone troopers start killing the Jedi felt very rushed. Lucas wanted to say that the Jedi were killed, but he had so many other things to tell in the movie he just killed them off quickly.

Also, I think this movie, along with the two previous ones severely failed in the dialog department. I was cringing half the time when the dialog was being delivered.

IMHO, the movie deserves nothing more than a B.
