Behind the Words
A lot of times when I post something it feels as if I’m just typing words, but not saying a whole lot. This has been my biggest problem with updating blogs recently. (...)

Review: Sin City
Quentin Tarantino comes along as a special guest director for Sin City. The movie definitely has a Tarantino feel to it. It’s unlike any other movie you’ve ever seen. Looking at IMDb I noticed that Sin City 2 and Sin City 3 are planned for the future. It’ll be interesting to see how each movie follows along after the first. (...)

I’m Back
It’s been over a week since I posted. I had a great time on my golf trip, but I’ve been busy since I came back. I’m still tired out and my back is sore each morning when I crawl out of bed. I haven’t played golf since the trip and I doubt I will for at least another week…I’m all golfed out. 108 holes and 30 hours of sun over 3 days will do that to a person. (...)
Offline
I’ll be offline until late Tuesday night. That’s an extremely long time for me. I’m not sure I’ll be able to go 12 hours without checking the status of my Google ads or Gmail. Hopefully I’ll be hitting them long and straight and making a few putts along the way. (...)
Review: Into The Sun
Over the past few years, Steven Seagal’s movies have sucked. I’ve been a fan of his movies ever since I saw Under Siege, but with his recent lack of hits he is not even in my top five list of favorite actors anymore. With that said, Into the Sun was actually a decent movie. Some of the other Seagal movies I’ve seen in the last two or three years have been downright horrible. (...)

Review: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
I’m not the biggest fan on stupid comedy movies, but Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle was pretty good. John Cho and Kal Penn worked well together to make this film. The entire film revolves around the characters of Harold and Kumar. One night after getting stoned, they get the munchies. A commercial for White Castle appears on TV and they’re off to satisfy their hunger. (...)

Upcoming 2005 Golf Trip
On Saturday I take off for NW Michigan for my summer golf trip. I’ll be playing 18 at Little Traverse Bay Golf Club in Harbor Springs on Saturday and then off to Boyne Mountain for a few days to play the Alpine and Monument. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are the heart of the trip, which we call the Hackers/Whackers McDuff Open. (...)

Refreshed
I was out of town for a long weekend and I’ve been very busy since I came back, so that’s why I haven’t posted in a week or so. Last weekend was the 2005 Nautical Festival (”Naughty Fest”) in my hometown of Rogers City, MI. It’s always a blast and this year was no exception. I had more fun over those couple of days than I’ve had in a long time. (...)
