“Share This” Icon Concept
In response to Alex’s posts (Concept #1 and Concept #2), I decided to whip up an idea. It uses the little waves from the RSS icon, but what logos these days aren’t? (XM, Engadget, etc.)
My concept is pretty rough around the edges and was quick work in Photoshop. I’m no expert, so remember this is a concept and just another idea to think about.
I like the idea, but it really loses a little something at 16×16.

I like it, what would really make it stand out a little more is to give it a more 3d look. Like the logo at http://www.feedmerss.com
An inner bevel and bringing the inner symbols larger to fill the square would also help it.
