I just finished watching Lance Armstrong win his 7th Tour de France in a row. In my opinion, the TdF is the most difficult sporting competition in the world and Armstrong is the greatest athlete of our time. Winning this race seven times in a row was unthinkable. Lance did it after surviving cancer, which makes it even more remarkable. It is quite possibly the greatest sporting record of all-time. (...)

2005 Tour de France

Lance is 2 seconds off the lead in the 2005 Tour de France after 3 stages. More importantly though, he has over a 50 second advantage on all of the men who are expected to be his competition. The team time trial, which Lance’s teams have won the past two years, is in progress right now. (...)
