Merry New Birthday
It’s been awhile. Too long. The last post I made was December 16th, which I believe is the longest period without activity since the blog launched over two years ago. I’ve missed Christmas, my 26th birthday (12/26), and the New Year. I even missed the 2 year anniversary of MtDewVirus, which would have been on November 22nd. (...)

Out of Office
Just looking at the calendar I counted out of the next 21 weekdays I’ll only be at work for 7.5 of them. I love this time of year! Our holiday break starts at noon on December 22nd and we’re back to work on January 3rd. On the 8th of January I fly out to San Francisco for MacWorld and will return on the 14th after a nice 7 hour layover in Las Vegas. (...)

A Sporting Thanksgiving
As posted previously, I attended a few professional sports events over the Thanksgiving holiday. Last Wednesday (Nov. 23) my parents left Rogers City bright and early. I’m not sure why they came down so early, but I wasn’t too happy that they interrupted my Xbox 360 time since I had just hooked it up the night before. (...)

Missing but not Lost
I’ve been absent from this here blog lately and the trend will continue for at least a few more days. I going to three games the next three days and my Xbox 360 arrived yesterday. That doesn’t leave much time for blogging and surfing the Internet. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! (...)

Labor Day Weekend 2005
I had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend. On Friday night I went to The Dukes of Hazzard with my buddy Mo. Saturday morning I woke up early and drove down to Sterling Heights to hang out with a couple good friends, Lindsay and Jere. We went out golfing (shot a 44), watched the Michigan game, went out for burgers and beer, and then had a few at night. (...)

Happy Thanksgiving
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving today!! The drive home yesterday started out horrible. It was raining, but so cold that it turned to slush on my windshield. Then it was snow. Then it was mixed. This lasted for about a half hour and then was clear for the rest of the ride. I’m glad I got out of work early because people who drove up later in the day had a horrible time. (...)

Beat Me Up!
Happy 4th of July! It’s raining here in good old northern Michigan so it looks like we’ll be stuck in the house all day. Dad is deep frying a turkey and we might have a little Texas Hold’em tournament on Isaac’s new poker table. He built it with one of his friends and it’s pretty sweet. I’ll post a picture on Monday night. (...)

Good Friday
Is it really that good? I’m still at work, which is extemely slow by the way. A lot of people have taken the at least a portion of the day off to go to church or do whatever. Since I’m taking so many other days off during the month, I’m stuck here. Maybe I’ll get to leave early and head up north before all of the traffic gets crazy. (...)

St. Patrick’s Day
To those of you who celebrate this green holiday, I wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Drink a few green beers for me while you are at the bar. I personally don’t see the point in the holiday and have never had a green beer. I’ll be relaxing for the night… (...)

The Best Wake Up Call Ever
I hate when people call at the ass-crack of dawn and wake me up on a weekend. But every once in awhile it’s for a good reason. Today is one of those days. My phone rang once as I lay in bed thinking, “I’m gonna kill whoever that is” or “They better be calling for something good.” They left a voicemail and then my phone rang again. (...)

Christmas Tradition
Every year on Christmas Eve we have a tradition that we follow. Around 5:00 we start off with crab legs for supper. After everything is cleaned up, we open our stockings. For the past few years dad has been in charge of the stocking stuffers and we have a little joke with it. He goes to the dollar store and picks up cheap little things and usually a few lotto tickets. (...)

Holiday Spirit
This year is like no other for me in terms of the holiday season. Usually I’m more concerned about me and what I’ll be getting for gifts instead of concentrating on everyone else. This year has been just the opposite. One thing you may have noticed is the title of this post. (...)
