Before I Die

Published on Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 at 12:43pm.

A few months ago I started a list of things I wanted to do before I die. I never got around to publishing it and ended up completing one of the items (eagle a par 4) about a month ago. I just hit the publish button on the page. Before I Die… What are some of the things on your list? If you have a web site, create your own page and link back here for others to track back to you. Busy Busy

Published on Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 at 9:21am.

New postings have been few and far between here at MDV for the past few months and especially during the last month. I’ve been extremely busy and having a lot of fun. The big secret (I sold pokerchiptricks.com) is out, went to Cedar Point, bought a black MacBook, have golfed a ton this summer, and just recently took a 5-night trip to Las Vegas. (...)

I Wonder

Published on Tuesday, November 1st, 2005 at 11:53pm.

I wonder… Will I ever escape the Matrix? How old will I be before I stop playing video games? Do the houses used in the Real World have light switches? They never seem to be in the dark. Ever! How old will I be before I lose my hair and start to shave my head? When will we get the first woman president? How do babies survive and grow on only milk? Any answers? What do you wonder? (...)

I Wonder

Published on Wednesday, September 28th, 2005 at 12:13am.

I’ve decided to take the first “I Wonder” post and make it into the I Wonder Series. I’ll add things into a saved post and when I have enough I’ll post it. I think I come up with plenty of random thoughts to keep this going on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. (...)

I Wonder

Published on Friday, September 16th, 2005 at 10:19am.

I always have random thoughts running through my mind, so I thought I’d share a few of them I’ve had lately… Why is your list of criminal offenses called a “rap sheet”? When we fold our hands, is it based on our dominant hand? I’m right-handed and I fold my hands with my right thumb on top. Which pant leg to people tend to put on first? (...)

Round 1

Published on Saturday, March 19th, 2005 at 2:04pm.

With the first round of the 2005 NCAA tournament completed, I couldn’t have asked for better games. I knew it was going to be a great year for March Madness, but didn’t know it was going to be so special. (...)

Favorite Flicks

Published on Sunday, October 31st, 2004 at 11:31am.

Recently I was asked what my favorite movies are. That’s a tough question to answer because each movie fits into its own category. It’s hard to say that a sports movie is better than one with action or vice versa. Here are my favorite flicks of all time and the ones from my DVD collection that I pick to watch most often. (...)

Naughty Fest 2004

Published on Monday, August 9th, 2004 at 1:25pm.

Each year, Rogers City hosts the Nautical Festival. We look forward to it the whole summer, but when Monday morning rolls around, boy are we glad that it’s over. It’s a blast of a weekend, but it sure kicks your ass! Basically we Drink during the day. Take a little time to eat dinner. Change into clothes for the night out. Head over to whoever’s house has a keg for the night. (...)

Top 10 May 2004 Searches

Published on Monday, May 31st, 2004 at 10:12pm.

At the end of each month (I’ve decided this is the last month I am posting this), I post a list of the top 10 keyword combinations (searches) that visitors have used in a search engine to get to my site. It’s not a popularity list, because “poker chip tricks” and every possible way to search for that would dominate my top 10. (...)

Off To Sacramento

Published on Sunday, May 23rd, 2004 at 9:33am.

Later today I’ll be taking off for Detroit and then flying out to Sacramento, CA. I haven’t done laundry or packed a thing, so I’ve got a few things on my “To Do List” for this morning! For the next week, the site will be a little “dead”, but I do have dial-up access in the hotel so I’ll check things at least once a day. (...)

You Might Be A WordPress Junkie If…

Published on Thursday, May 20th, 2004 at 12:17am.

You have more than 5 folders on your web space that begin with “wp-”. (There are only 4 included in the distribution, but I have 7.) You know that a post-slug is not an insect or a shotgun shell. You know what the WordPress Wiki is and where to find something in it. You check the WP CVS at least once a day for updated files. You know at least two of the developers by their domain name. (...)

Linkage

Published on Tuesday, February 17th, 2004 at 10:17pm.

I need to start cooking some more. Maybe some good recipes will help. I’m still not too sure about Orkut, but I’m checking my account more often now. If you want an invite, leave a comment and ask. Southwest Airlines has good rates on flights right now. I booked my mom’s flight with from Detroit to San Diego for a total of $295. (...)

The List

Published on Tuesday, February 10th, 2004 at 6:17pm.

On my way to work this morning I was listening to WIOG and they were discussing their lists, which has prompted me to create my own list here on my site. What is a list? Well, if you could pick anyone in sports, movies, television, modeling, etc. who would be the top 5 people you would want to hook up with? (...)
