Moving West

Published on Thursday, June 3rd, 2004 at 9:55pm.

After two recent trips to California, I’ve decided that I want to move out west. I simply love it out there. The weather is great, the views are spectacular, and there are a ton of things to do. I’ve been to San Diego and Sacramento…loved them both. I’m not exactly sure where in the west I’d like to live, so it’s pretty wide open right now. (...)

I’m IN

Published on Thursday, April 29th, 2004 at 4:25pm.

No, not the Verizon Network IN (even though I am actually IN), but I’m in my new place. I still have to get my audio and video systems all connected and unbox a few things, but it’s looking pretty homey so far. We packed up all of Heather’s stuff and she took off for Rogers City with Mom and Dad not too long ago. It feels good to be on my own. (...)

Moving Days

Published on Wednesday, April 28th, 2004 at 11:56am.

Tonight and tomorrow are the big moving days and I can’t wait for it all to be over. I’m sick of cleaning, packing, loading the car, and everything else. I just want to be moved in so that I can live normal again. I’m taking this afternoon off (in addition to Thursday and Friday) to get a jumpstart on cleaning and moving things. (...)

Living On My Own

Published on Monday, April 26th, 2004 at 10:47pm.

There obviously will be advantages and disadvantages to living on my own (which starts on Thursday). Here are some of the things I’ve thought about recently. Advantages Uh…I’ll be living by myself! I don’t have to worry about washing someone else’s dishes or taking out their trash. I can play music or movies as loud as I want as late as I want. (...)

Another Day

Published on Saturday, April 17th, 2004 at 12:43am.

It was a good day, as far as the new place goes. I slept in a little bit and then screwed around on the computer for an hour or so before getting started on my tasks for the day. I took down all of my posters, and looked for things I could do without. I managed to put a few boxes worth of stuff together, along with jackets, and some odds and ends. Enough for a load anyways. (...)

Starting The Move

Published on Thursday, April 15th, 2004 at 7:01pm.

I started moving stuff today to my new place. It’s a pain in the ass, but exciting at the same time. The futon is all put together and was a great purchase. I also spent some more money today on cleaning stuff, a new vacuum, a Swiffer, and various other things I’ll need at the new place. I did a pretty good job of writing everything down today as I thought of them. (...)

My Week…

Published on Sunday, March 28th, 2004 at 10:07am.

I haven’t been updating regularly lately so I thought I’d do a little catching up… On Wednesday I signed a lease for a 2 bedroom duplex so I no longer have to worry about finding a place to live. It’s a nice relief. (...)

Home Sweet Home

Published on Monday, March 22nd, 2004 at 9:30pm.

I found a place to live! 2317 Congress. For those of you familiar with Saginaw, go south on Bay Road past State Street, take a left on Congress and it’s about two blocks down on the right hand side. It’s a nice little two bedroom with a carport. (...)

A Place To Call Home

Published on Tuesday, March 16th, 2004 at 9:06pm.

I’ve started the search for a place to live. It sucks…looking through the paper or MLive, calling people, asking questions, scheduling times to take a look at the place. What a pain in the ass! I’ve decided on getting a 2 bedroom duplex. That would give me the option of having someone move in with me in a few months. (...)
