I just finished watching Lance Armstrong win his 7th Tour de France in a row. In my opinion, the TdF is the most difficult sporting competition in the world and Armstrong is the greatest athlete of our time. Winning this race seven times in a row was unthinkable. Lance did it after surviving cancer, which makes it even more remarkable. It is quite possibly the greatest sporting record of all-time. (...)

Mighty Lions

Yesterday the Detroit Lions set the NFL record for consecutive road losses with their 24th in a row. I looked at the box score and they had a total of 106 yards on offense! These guys are supposed to be professions? The best in the world at playing football? I’ll continue to be a fan, but holy shit do they suck! (...)

A Piece Of History

Yesterday, my dad, brother, and I were a part of basketball history. We attended the BasketBowl at Ford Field, where Michigan State lost to Kentucky 79-74, in front of 78,129 people; the largest crowd in basketball history (at any level of play). I bought the tickets as Christmas gifts to them and we had a good time. (...)
