Watch Your Cart
I just went to purchase ER - The Complete Fourth Season from Amazon and made it all the way to the final step of checkout before realizing my total was over $1,500! My first thought was “That’s an expensive DVD.” Then I realized I still had an Apple iMac G5 in the shopping cart from a week ago. (...)

Google Store
While browsing around Google’s site, you’ll come across things you never knew existed. For instance, I bet you didn’t kno there was a Google Store. (...)

A Little Shopping
Heather and Mom are visiting for the weekend, so we made a trip to the outlets in Birch Run yesterday. My plan was to buy some new polo shirts and maybe a few other things. I ended up spending over $300 on new clothes and shoes! What can I say? I’m a sucker for shopping. Most of the total was spent on two new pairs of Dr. Marten’s, one brown and one black. (...)

Apple Carts
Recently I’ve been thinking about buying a Mac. An apple a day keeps the doctor away…right? Below are the prices I’ve come up with for a 15 inch PowerBook, 17 inch PowerBook, and Mac Mini. I’d much rather have a laptop, because I already have desktop with my Dell server. $2,500 is a lot of money though! (...)

Over The Weekend
On Friday night, the family came down for Heather’s graduation. The speaker was dreadful, as expected, but the ceremony didn’t seem too long. After commencement, we headed off to Red Lobster for a little dinner celebration. I love that place. I had the Ultimate Feast and saved room for desert. It was some microwaved brownie thing with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Mmm mmm mmm!! (...)

What is ALDI?
Recently a new business opened on the road I take for my work commute. I drive past the place at least twice a day during the week and each time I’ve wondered, “What is ALDI?“ (...)

Visitors
I’ve had some visitors over the last few days, so there hasn’t been much time for posting. It’s always nice to take a little break from the online world though. On Thursday night, my sister came down because her last class was on Friday. Heather ’s doing her student teaching right now, will be done in a few weeks, and then graduates in December. (...)
CC CD
I never buy CDs. I’ve bought one in the past 5 or 6 years probably. Yesterday I bought Films About Ghosts by the Counting Crows though. I’ve really been loving their music lately. (...)
Lil Sis
Heather came down for a visit yesterday. She had to go to a class for her student teaching today so she drove down after school and spent the night. I cooked up some chicken fettuccine alfredo, garlic toast, and even baked some caramel brownies for desert. I figured cooking her dinner was the least I could do after all of the cooking she did for me during the two years we lived together. (...)
Amazon Wish List
I’ve started an Amazon Wish List in case anyone is in the giving mood. (...)

New Purchases
I haven’t been to Best Buy in a few weeks so I stopped by today to pick up the newly released Star Wars Trilogy on DVD. I also couldn’t resist grabbing Star Wars Battlefront for XBOX after hearing a few friends talk about how awesome it is supposed to be. A simple trip ended up costing me $100. I figured it will be a nice reward for getting the new website done this week. (...)

Day 2 In Philly
Today, in the first day of class, we covered a lot of material that I had already learned from classes I took during college, so it wa a little boring. After class, I waited for Lindsay to return from her trolley tour and then we headed off for some excitement. (...)

King Par Tent Sale
King Par’s annual tent sale ends tomorrow (Sunday), so we stopped by today. It was like being a kid in the candy store! You can’t even imagine how much golf equipment and clothing they had on sale. It was unreal. Boxes and boxes of gloves, irons, woods. Shelves packed full of shoes. Rows of tables stacked with golf balls. I bought a new pair of Adidas golf shoes ($40) and a new driver. (...)

For Sale
Anyone want to buy a ping pong table ($50), small freezer ($65), or dehumidifer ($65)? All are in good condition. You must be able to pick them up…I will not ship them. I need to get rid of these as soon as I can because I don’t feel like moving them to the new place. If you are interested, contact me for more details. (...)
Spending More Money
I bought a few more things for the new place today. The grill was half off and I got the vacuum for $1 because I spent over $99 in a particular category, not to mention free shipping on everything. Fire and Ice Thermos Grill by Char-Broil Mini Turbo Shark Hand Vacuum (...)

My Week…
I haven’t been updating regularly lately so I thought I’d do a little catching up… On Wednesday I signed a lease for a 2 bedroom duplex so I no longer have to worry about finding a place to live. It’s a nice relief. (...)
BIG Purchase!
I just made the purchase of my life! I bought a 50″ Grand WEGA LCD rear projection TV (KF-50WE610). Joel over at ABC Warehouse hooked me up with some sweet deals. I got the TV for $2870, which is $430 cheaper than the price at Circuit City, Best Buy, and Sony. I also bought the 5 year extended warranty on it, because on such a big purchase it’s a must. (...)

Weekend Update
As you can probably tell from my posts this weekend, I’ve been messing/hacking with my site. I believe I made at least 3 posts related to web design. It really was a “geek” weekend for me. On Saturday, I didn’t crawl out of bed until 1:30, which may be a new record. I never showered or changed my clothes the whole day actually. (...)

Steve And Barry’s
Steve and Barry’s University Sportswear is my new favorite store! On the way back up from the game, we stopped at Great Lakes Crossing because I had heard about this store while listening to WIOG. EVERYTHING in the store was $8.98 or less! I bought a Michigan long sleeve T, a Tennessee long sleeve T, Duke T, shirt for work, Michigan hooded sweathshirt, and a small duffle bag. (...)

Another Loss
We had our 2nd game for Basketball league tonight. We lost 54-51. I think I had 15 or maybe 17 points. We were down by 10 with under 3 minutes and made a nice little come back. I hit 2 three pointers in the last minute to pull within one and then fouled (they made both free throws), but we didn’t get a good shot off at the end of the game. (...)

Let The Shopping Begin
I finally started my Christmas shopping today. I’ve been dreading going to the stores, but it wasn’t all that bad today. After work I changed and then went to swipe the credit card a few times. I picked up gifts for my mom, sister, and friends. I never really waited in line anywhere and didn’t run into any crazy shoppers attempting to run me over. (...)

Days Of December
The last month of the year is full of events for me. Here in Michigan, we usually get snow staying on the ground at some point during the month and winter officially begins on the 22nd. Have I ever mentioned that I hate winter? 65-70 degrees outside is the ideal temperature for me. Here in Michigan we are rarely above 30 or 40 during the winter months. (...)
