Quickie: 12/29/2007 9:22:39am
Was getting a great night of sleep until the neighbor’s snow removal service started plowing her driveway at 5am. They had a truck with a plow and it took them about 15 minutes. I think I could do it faster with my snow blower! (...)

Enjoying the Weather Among Other Things
I’ve been enjoying the weather for the past several weeks which means spending less and less time on the computer. That also means less time for blogging and less updates here as well as my other blogs. I’ve also cut back on my poker playing dramatically which takes away computer time as well. This is all a good thing. (...)

Who Needs Sleep?
I do. I’ve had problems sleeping for years and finally decided to do something about it. I visited a Doctor last week and was sent to a sleep clinic. They put sensors all over my body and monitored me for a night. It was something different to say the least. My results didn’t show any major problems like sleep apnea or restless leg syndrome, so that’s good. I guess. (...)

Counting Sheep
Last night was the best night of sleep I’ve had in months. I took a few Ibuprofin along with some Tylenol sleeping pills before hitting the pillow around 12:30 and didn’t wake up until 10 this morning. It felt great! I finally crawled out of bed around 11 feeling fresh and ready to go. (...)

Long Nights
I just can’t stay up late like I used to. A year or two ago, I could stay up until 12 or 1 in the morning and get up for work the next day without a problem. I can’t do that anymore. Last night I realized that I used to drink at least 5-6 cans/bottles of Mountain Dew a day. Now it’s a big week if I have 2 total. I also realized that I turn 25 in just over 2 weeks. (...)

How Did That Happen?
The plan for the night was to go over to a friend’s place for some drinks and a little “get together.” I jumped in beg at 5:30 to take a nap until about 7. That’d give me enough time to make dinner, clean up and then get to their place by 9. Well, I just fucking crawled out of bed and it’s 9:30. How does that happen? (...)

A Busy Week Means A Quiet Week
Just a warning that I have a very busy week ahead. On Friday I’m taking a couple of Microsoft certification tests, so all of my free time will be spent studying. I don’t have much free time as it is, so updates and posts to the site will be few and far between, if any at all. I’m also trying to get into a sleeping routine, which hasn’t been going so well. (...)

Been Busy…
The posts have been few and far between lately. I know. It’s always hectic coming back from a holiday weekend. For the rest of this post I’m simply going to type whatever comes to mind, so please excuse me if it doesn’t make sense. I haven’t played poker in two days, but I dropped my bike off at the shop today to get tuned up. (...)
NESS
Not Enough Sleep Syndrome. I don’t know if such a thing exists, but I have it. I don’t get nearly enough sleep, especially during the week. Most nights I don’t get to bed until after midnight. Sometimes as late as 1:30 a.m. For those of you that don’t know, I start work at eight in the morning. Six or seven hours of sleep a night just doesn’t cut it. (...)
